Snow covers the Alma Mater statue, commonly called the Mary and Margery Reed statue, sometimes called the ''Mother Daughter'' statue. The sculptor was Enrico Licari, a Sicilian born sculptor who lived in Denver. It is titled the Alma Mater Statue and was given in honor of Margery Reed who had died in 1925. it was unveiled at the dedication ceremony for Margery Reed Hall in 1929. The production is part of the Rocky Mountain Conservatory Theatre's three-week summer camp for children ages 5-17. At camp's end, there are four live performances. The campers will perform The Wizard of Oz June 26-27 and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland July 17-18.
